1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildFix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Description of Service

BuildFix is a development automation platform that:

• Monitors your Vercel deployments for build failures
• Uses AI (via your Claude API key) to analyze and fix errors
• Creates pull requests in your GitHub repositories
• Provides a development interface for AI-powered code generation

3. Your Responsibilities

API Keys & Costs

• You must provide valid API keys for Claude, GitHub, and optionally Vercel
• You are responsible for all costs incurred through your API usage
• You must monitor your API usage and costs directly with those providers
• BuildFix cannot control or limit your API spending

Code Review

• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated code before merging
• You must test fixes in non-production environments when appropriate
• You accept responsibility for code merged into your repositories

Repository Access

• You grant BuildFix permission to read and write to your repositories
• You may revoke this access at any time by deleting your API keys
• You are responsible for your repository's security settings

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• ❌ Use BuildFix for illegal purposes
• ❌ Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
• ❌ Abuse or exploit the service
• ❌ Reverse engineer or copy BuildFix's code
• ❌ Use BuildFix to generate malicious code
• ❌ Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

Your Code

You retain all rights to your code and repositories. BuildFix claims no ownership of any code you write, generate, or fix using the service.

BuildFix Platform

BuildFix's platform, code, and brand remain our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute BuildFix.

7. Payment & Billing (If Applicable)

BuildFix Fees

If you're on a paid plan:

• Fees are billed monthly or annually
• You authorize us to charge your payment method
• Fees are non-refundable
• We may change fees with 30 days notice

API Costs (Separate)

Remember: BuildFix's fees are SEPARATE from your Claude, GitHub, and Vercel costs. You pay those providers directly based on your usage.

8. Account Termination

By You

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Your encrypted API keys will be deleted
• Your project settings will be deleted
• No refunds for unused time

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your usage threatens service stability
• You engage in abusive behavior
• Required by law

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or prominent notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
